Health officials are looking into a possible cancer cluster at the University of California, San Diego, 10News reported.
Eight people who work in the literature building on the Warren College campus have been diagnosed with cancer in the past 16 years, according to health officials.
The university tested the building for carcinogens and the preliminary results came back negative.
The school said it is doing all it can to figure out if there is a cancer cluster in the literature building.
The test results will be examined by an independently contracted epidemiologist.
